Any coffee before lunch is just a placebo really. I find this hard to believe. And it would be pretty easy to test using decaf coffee in a double-blind trial.

Yes, I've used it before. It isn't really necessary for my uses. Also it's easier to sudo zile than go through Tramp for editing system files.

I've moved to Cinnamon, too. I tried Gnome 3 for a few weeks, went back to a simple window manager for awhile (I had used Openbox for years), and also tried Unity and KDE4. Turns out I'm used to a certain kind of workflow based on "traditio

I don't launch Emacs from the shell. If I need to do something quick in the shell I use zile (simple console text editor with emacs keybindings). I also don't close Emacs often so I don't need to invoke it frequently...

I can see Office 365 possibly being supported on the Linux desktop but I will eat my hat if we see desktop Office on desktop Linux. There's hardly a market there, why would they bother?

Maybe it is an extrovert/introvert split? e.g.: Extroverts use Facebook to enhance relationships while introverts rely on Facebook too much instead of interacting with people.

Moral of the story: flossing probably has nothing to do with dental health, as long as you brush your teeth and don't eat a lot of sugar. It is unwise to extrapolate from your personal experience. Especially when there is plenty of resear
