Is re-reading group file really that bad? OK it's pretty stupid but the file will be cached after the first read so it's not like the disk is being hammered constantly.

To be fair, Word isn't that great either. I spend a lot of time shouting at it and for about 95% of the things I do, Google Docs is absolutely fine and not tied to a specific computer. It has become my default word processor.

The only real difference is that this light is uses a "secure" torx fastener on the assumption that a would-be thief doesn't have one. They are certainly not a "special screwdriver", being obtainable from any good hardware place.

This is not about storing state, but using cookies to track users across domains in order to build up a profile about the user. It is only the latter that needs explicit permission under the new law.

Not big or world changing but something I would have thought people would find useful. It's a mortgage calculator that actually works out the useful numbers for you, i.e. repayment costs taking inflation into account, discounted periods, e
