Just got the framework laptop here in US. I am surprised how light it is given the modularity. I bought the DIY version. Installing ram, storage and wifi card was easy and then installing Linux was straightforward. The screen resolution is

For what it’s worth, I have been using the new you.com headed by Richard Socher as my search engine for the last 2 weeks. The condensed search results with sections from reddit, wikipedia, stack overflow or arxiv is really great. It’s reall

People love to bash Dorsey but he had more of a backbone than Zuckerberg in every possible way. And while the game is always about money, Dorsey did try to improve the eco-system in a principled way even if arguably he failed in many ways -

Genuine question. Why are we assuming kids need to use messenger type apps? Shouldn't they be encouraged to be away from screens as much as possible?

There is good reason to distrust Huawei. There are no private Chinese companies, everything is controlled by CCP.

To be honest, 90k$ seems too small to take such huge risks. Were they already in some kinds of debt? Maybe, that tipped the FBI to target them?

That's what I thought but now Twitter is having problem loading replies to a tweet. I think it's something more general rather than FB centric.

I love my remarkable 2. The only thing that's missing for me is a backlight, it's unusable in terms of reading and writing if the room is dark. I would instantly upgrade to a RM3 with a backlight.

You can read all the philosophy in the world. It doesn't automatically turn into actionable realities. Also, any philosophy is subjective, you are a human, you said something, I am a human, I beg to differ and so on and on....
