Not OP but Marvel makes an API available for all this so most of it's likely within bounds: http://developer.marvel.com/ They may have a problem with the use of "Marvel" in the domain name though.

How does this compare to Nginx's Push stream module [1]? I've always defaulted to the Push stream module for any WebSocket/EventSource since I always have nginx installed and curious if Pushpin offers any benefits. [1]: http

> I don't know if this is a clever PR strategy to contain and direct fallout to a private medium Well to be fair, they pretty much have to go to a private medium to talk to their customers, especially in a financial setting.

Considering the OP of this HN thread owns the Github repo, I'm sure they're aware.

Probably because easily deploying PHP to webservers in 2015 is not newsworthy anymore.

Not affiliated with this project in any way but that comparison is not quite the same thing, Medium's promotions to their audience are heavily skewed towards the things they manually curate. This platform would let anyone be exposed to

From the Google Play description: > Against DRM? Search for games that don't offer in-app purchases. What does DRM have to do with IAPs? And I'm pretty sure everything on the Google Play store has Google Play DRM.

Looks to be a great book. I'm curious what the motivation is for some authors lately to make the whole book available free while making it available for sale? Does it help with publicity or anything or is this mostly a gesture of gener

Don't think Google Code would have been much of an improvement. I'm pretty sure Google has abandoned further development on it and have so for a while now.

Haxe allows for compilation to multiple targets and doesn't require Flash in any way. Flash is one of the supported targets but there are many others that work just as well if not better (including HTML5).

SSH has SOCKS proxy support built in, no need for squid and such unless you need to do more advanced things. Just start ssh with: ssh -D 8080 myuser@remote_ssh_server You can then set up your browser's proxy config to use 127.0.

You could use pretty much any pathfinding algorithm (A* for example) even if you don't have a grid based graph. In the implementation, you would just need to modify how the algorithm transverses each valid walkable/unwalkable node

That's because it's meant to illustrate how each pathfinding algorithm/heuristic works and their search scope, not to do project-specific pathing.
