Error is a little misleading. OpenGL is likely much higher than 3.3 since op is using nvidia gpu. Problem is that this application uses OpenGL ES for which 3.3 was only recently even finalized as a standard and most GPUs like nvidia don’t s

Also same issue. Seems it’s using a bleeding edge OpenGL ES that even nVidia drivers don’t support.

The nostr tech itself is great. The problem with nostr is that 95% of the conversations are about crypto.

Overpaid? Doubt it. Just people who make more than they need to survive and can afford to cut back on income for a happier life.

Agreed. There is almost 0 continuity between the images as you move through the world. I think a true AI streetview would require rendering these images on to 3d primitives then re-rendering areas with some overlap so there is a smoother tr

I've been using it exclusively as my main OS for years with no issues. All hardware supported (better than Windows), fast and works out of the box.

Looks to be a fork of Nitter which has been around a while. I'm guessing they've found a temporary way to get around Twitter's limits.

After seeing a recent HN post about Dokku, I started going into the nitty gritty of deploying it before finding out there is no multi-node support at all. So if you ever get to the point where you want to scale beyond one server, dokku can&

The Python/code block support looks interesting. But Jupyter notebooks can run anywhere including local. Do you support that (via a local install or by relaying a connection to local python install)? Or would all Python code have to ru

That's great but not every note taking program requires a database to attach metadata. I personally use Obsidian and it has support for all kinds of templates/metadata/tagging etc without a standalone database feature.

Same. I tried 27B and found it to be not even close to llama3-70b. Even llama-8b did better in some of my tests than Gemma 27b.

The small model/TTF is only 60MB. The 280GB you saw is the Llama3-70B model which is basically chatgpt level (if not better).

Yes this is a strange one. There is no viable competitor to DJI for consumers when it comes to the software side especially -- DJI software is miles ahead of the other drone producers (on-drone and their mobile apps).

Krita has vector support too. In fact you can mix and match vector and raster layers. It also has plugins that do content filling like this (and they do it offline): https://github.com/Acly/krita-ai-diffusion But nothi

The 2 about the cockroach and Mario Kart sound like answers taken from a Reddit thread. No company should be using reddit comments to train their AI and this is why.

This is the feeling I get from reading those AI responses also. It looks like it's quoting Reddit comments as facts when probably 80% of comments on a Reddit thread will be jokes and the factual answer will be halfway down the thread.
