I was predicting hyperinflation from 2008 and for years after, but the evidence just isn't there. Maybe things will eventually pop. The actual happenings of the economy (people buying and selling) are insulated from financial markets e

I still don't understand why I (an American) can't pay the BBC money for access to iPlayer. BBC has been saying hell no to my money for over a decade now. It doesn't make sense. Free money! You could lower your TV tax! I thin

People have been talking about the Apple TV for many, many years. This actually sounds like a stronger case for Apple not making a car. > can we make a version of this product that is differentiated enough to be meaningful in the market?

Yes, but even you are recommending automation as the solution here (a sign to direct people is automation). If restaurants do it poorly that is of course an issue, but it's not like rude servers and bad service don't exist.

All of the local restaurants have raised prices. I've overheard a few restaurant owners talking and it seems customers don't like even small price increases. They also indicate the price increases are necessary for supply costs ev

It's surprising businesses haven't turned to automation. At the very least, most of a restaurant's and a coffee shop's labor can be replaced with automated ordering, having the customer collect food themselves when it&#x

I'd like to see windows be part of office 365. Windows users get 'free' Windows on the desktop and Mac users can get licenses for parallels. Maybe they could set it up so that Windows is free with ads, but subscribers can tur

Why do people need to sound authoritative? I hear a lot of bullshit from people who focus on how they sound. Can't authority be established through work history? TBH, the more polished and confident a presenter sounds, the more likely
