There are many that I don't understand very well, so I'm reluctant to rank them. My tendency is to be skeptical about how clearly us humans can see the underlying reality of things, so I find epistemic interpretations like QBism a

That's one position in a century-long debate. But there are other assumptions than locality in the proof of Bell's Theorem, which other interpretations of QM relax. Like having single measurement outcomes (many-worlds), or observe

BM is objective, and indeed deterministic. I'm not exactly sure what you mean by "complete" but it has all the same predictions as other interpretations of QM. It has some odd quirks however, such as explicit non-locality.

But... the section on deterrance pretty much aligns with what I just said above: https://lawcomic.net/guide/?p=114 Namely that it is unlikely to factor into people's decision-making process - and when it does, the

Please consider that your original post could also be seen as shaming people who appreciate the beauty of train journeys. Some of the best quality time I've spent with my son has been during train journeys. Like many two-year olds he

For cult sci fi classics you can't get much better than "Stars My Destination" by Alfred Bester. Other goodies include Dune (of course), Gateway, and The Forever War. I also recently read Speaker For The Dead (sequel to Ender

The UK has evolved a sophisticated detection and deterrent system: https://www.gamblingcommission.gov.uk/licensees-and-business... UK regulations are also more coherent, centralised, and strict than the patchwork US model.

That is probably statistically true, though it'll depend on the mother's income, stability, and subsequent partnering. The impact on the mother however is definitive.

True, there's a big difference both in personal effort and the impact it has on the other party. I recently watched a Netflix spy drama "Black Doves" in which a prominent politician's wife turns out to be a spy contracti

I disagree. Comparison with human baseline is basically irrelevant. AI will be used in so many more ways and at so much greater scale that the failure rate has to stand alone as extraordinarily low regardless of human abilities.
