You can agree with the goals of an initiative and still think it is poorly thought out. OP is acting as if anyone criticizing this thing must clearly be opposed to their entire world view, accusing them of being paid shills. No. Maybe they

Either would work, I think. How I do it right now is that I let AI edit automatically, but then check the diff in Cursor before I stage my Git changes. May be different for others.

We clearly don't have the same friends then! The event was the ridicule of the day on Twitter (wrongly, in my opinion, given that the tech is very good).

Hindsight bias, and you're wrong by saying that the $5k were conditional on the line item change (they weren't). Here's the quote from the indictment: > JAVICE responded to Scientist-1 that same day, “Can you send t

It's an interesting question, and I'm sure there are useful things to learn from it, but the focus on whether AI is "alive" ruins the article. In this sentence: > Many people believe LLMs are just equations, mechanica

I agree with everything but the definition of intuitive; sometimes, the more common situation is less intuitive. An egregious example of this is "Close ad" buttons, which are intentionally placed unintuitively to direct the user t

Same here — once you get the scrolling part it's pretty great, but like you I was stuck at the top for a while. A downwards-pointing arrow on the hero would help a lot here.

Now the question remains, are there stableish equilibria that are 50/50? Splitting it into two half-circles sounds like an equilibrium at first glance, but I'm not convinced it is, as only a tiny bit of random luck seems to make i

Stock dilution doesn't work like that. If a seed investor invests for 5% at a $10mil valuation, and the company goes 10x (ie. a valuation of $100mil), if the company now raises a $100mil Series K, that means the Series K investor owns
