Not necessarily. The number 1.01001000100001000001... never repeats itself, yet most other numbers can never be found in it. A number that contains all other numbers infinitely many times (uniformly) would be called normal, but no one has m

I wonder whether this is diversification or just acquihiring. Given that they abruptly shut down the products instead of rebranding them and converting their users, it may be the latter. Both Multi and Rockset had strong infra teams.

Bankruptcy means the shareholders and potentially some lenders are wiped out; it doesn't mean the company ceases to exist. In a Boeing bankruptcy, roughly $100b of its paper money market cap may be "wiped out" (but for the co

Personally, I think "denying" is also bad, while "omitting" is fine. Instead, I think it's more reasonable to have exceptions for certain protected activities, such as salting. It's in the same category as sexu

Is this an issue if you get $100k? That should more than cover flight tickets and hotel stay. If you're not even willing to do two travel days, why are you even participating in a 3-month accelerator? Doesn't sound like you want t

That is a really gross misrepresentation of the article. The complaint is that women who spoke out about gender discrimination were retaliated against, and they are the only ones who were laid off on their team: > After she was laid off,

There are VCs, and there are LPs. VCs do the work of finding investments and setting up funds; LPs provide the money and wait for it to grow. Of course, from a startup perspective, both really just look like VCs. But in reality, the people

The LPs pay 2% management fee so the employees make some money regardless of the outcome, just like startup founders want to make some money even if the startup fails.

Not sure yet. Flutter would require us to rewrite a lot of the client library, but on the other hand there aren't really any good Flutter solutions for this. Feel free to hop on our Discord and try convincing me :)
