RE the article about HTML 5 years ago - current web views are much more capable now (plus min hardware specs), so I would expect JavaScript apps to have continued growth for mobile.

I've used the Chrome webview from KitKat and Lollipop (API 19+). Beware though, for kitkat there's a bug when trying to play sound from local file assets (fixed in lollipop). It's a great way to code your first apk.

Although it looks like Microsoft are trying to appease users with this release, I'm finding myself still leaning towards Android L for quick app development (using a java wrapped Chrome Web View). I know Android is considered fragment

This is a fantastic read, brings back many memorys of my youth. One thing I was thinking about was the undisclosed multiface backup hack that was mentioned. I believe this could have been done using the Z80 shadow registers, which was a cop

Good example and if your using the ! in front of the function to save a byte you could change the for loops like so: for (var i = 0, l = keys.length; i < l; i++) { to for (var i = keys.length; i--;) { (to save even more)

Speaking as a Nexus 7 user (16GB version): I would say that this is the absolute minimum I would have on any device for that matter. 32GB would be some breathing space - for storing films and larger games for example - and would be what I'd
