Egress costs are only expensive if you're paying the artificially high mega cloud corp's inflated pricing. I've yet to pay for bandwidth for any servers on Hetzner or for Cloudflare's services.

AWS are the largest leeches of OSS, syphoning off most the profits and contribute relatively nothing back towards the OSS projects they rent seek from. The "Free for all except mega cloud corps" license changes are to disrupt this

I'm a happy Affinity Customer thanks to their low cost perpetual licenses and quality software, hoping that none of that changes - don't use it nearly enough to justify maintaining a subscription.

Build Quality refers to how well a piece of equipment has been made [1]. The Surface's tablet has a sleek design with a great construction, uses quality materials and a quality finish that feels like a slab of luxury aluminum and glass

Good build quality but unreliable. Bought a Surface, used it rarely, tried to pass it on to my eldest but it refused to start within 12 months.

Good, most value in OSS is being syphoned off by the mega corp cloud vendors which contribute nothing back to the maintainers of the OSS products they're charging rent for. That's not a sustainable relationship for a healthy OSS p
