There's a reservoir near where I live (SW US) that was nearly filled in from erosion after severe fires. They had to go in and clean it out with equipment. You can see the large scale erosion on the hillsides. This was 100% caused by t

Agreed. And this is a good part of the "real" grievance of both young people and working class minorities, especially in big cities in my opinion. It's not working class wages haven't risen, they have. But, the costs of

When I was in school 35-40 years ago (in the south) they would literally beat you in the butt with a board. One coach had a whole collection of different shaped paddles hanging on the wall which he would point out the first day of class. It

The current situation in these big tech companies reminds me a little bit of Wahhabism and the founding of modern Saudi Arabia. Initially the king used the Wahhabi extremists as troops and it was quite a successful partnership. But eventual

Warmongering I'll agree with. Powerful interests have made a lot of bad things happen. We can't change the past but we can and should work to change the future. However, I'm quite pleased we defeated Nazi Germany and hastened

If we are going to have endless people we need endless farms probably. It would be cool if we could keep the population of the globe like 1/10 what it is now but I don't know of a humane and rights respecting way to achieve that.
