Hey, thanks for the headsup. We had an old component that we used as a fallback for certain kinds of videos that was always active. It was a legacy component that just got forgotten. I removed the Flash fallback about half an hour ago, so t

The only public numbers are from the the previous Google search deal (the one from 3 years ago). It will be a long time until the details of this new deal are public. In the mean time I (as a Mozilla employee) can say that all of the option

Why does this make you less likely to use Firefox? The default search engine is just that: the default. You can change it to something else, and always have been able to. If you care enough to know what search engine you use, you should be

This is kind of a moot point. If you read the article carefully, you'll notice that Yahoo will be bringing "a new, re-imagined Yahoo search experience to Firefox users in the U.S"

Because the version of Firefox increments by one every 6 weeks, and whatever features are ready get included. This is a over simplification of the process. For more info you can read this: https://wiki.mozilla.org/Release_Ma

Nit: If we eradicate timezones, lets also get rid of this am/pm nonsense. New York wouldn't start at 1am, they would start at 1h00 (or 01:00, or 01h00, or however you want to notate it).
