I like having 2 drives. This seems to only have a slot for one drive? It doesn't take too long until you end up with TBs of stuff.

We're probably using more carbon now, then in the 90s. You have to look at the total carbon output of the world.

Do you think in the future some form of standardized shipping packages will become the norm? Much like the standard metal shipping container became the norm in the trucking industry. That way more automation can be incorporated across the

I don't see this as a case of 'information speed'. It's more like, who wants to wait more than 30 days for a package to get delivered. Each yearly task takes specific tools and ingredients, that you can't wait for.

100s of Billions are needed to just upgrade existing rail to being electric and reliable. Even just upgrading the speed slightly and making rail reliable would be helpful. Most roads, and highways, can be retrofitted with some type of pass

It's hard to think about how much technological change, and economies of scale played a part in our history. In the 1920s suburbs became possible because of telephones, light bulbs, and radio, as much as they became possible because of

The U.S.A. also went through rapid de-industrialization for the last 30 years. Look at what is called the 'rust belt' in the North-East. Does the U.S.A., need all the bridges and roads it once built. Detroit is contracting. So

At this point in history, I think we really need to stop building in green-fields, farmland, etc. and only concentrate on redevelopment. We are past the point of ecological sustainability.

I'd say the time from 1830's to about 1930's was the era of greatest change. The introduction of trains in the early 1800s literally changed the DNA of England. As people started to regularly traveled 100's of miles awa
