> They may not want to leave a paper trail. This makes sense, considering the regime is hiring Jan 6th insurrectionists like Jared Wise. Legality has gone out the window.

This is a long winded way of ignoring the fact that this is government coercion, something the 1st amendment was designed to prevent. What you're talking about is _not_ something the 1st amendment was designed to prevent.

Why would it? The key difference is businesses / people making choices and the government coercing businesses / people to make choices the government wants. One is a first amendment violation, one is exercising the first amendment

When it's removed due to the chilling effect of the government attacking our first amendment rights this gets murkier. Do you think they make this choice if the regime weren't going after their political enemies?

Cross platform games tend to run better on Switch 2 than the Deck, which is showing its teeth. E.g., Cyberpunk The Deck is amazing but a hardware refresh would be helpful

Not exactly–in my example above the 1 Black person in 20 or the 2 Black folks out of 20 would be "under-indexed" and "not under-indexed" respectively but all 3 are members of a marginalized group

Didn't trump post truths about firing Kimmel and Colbert? this seems to be a pattern > Freedom of speech is not freedom from consequences, This is true, but the 1st amendment applies to the government - when the government is limiti

It just means someone who is part of a demographic that isn't as represented as would be expected based on the average. E.g., if Black folks are 10% of the residents of your city and you had 1 Black individual in an office of 20 people

Pam Bondi also famously took a bribe to allow trump off the hook before his 2016 run. Everything around trump is insanely corrupted by him. She was of course "cleared" of any wrongdoing in the situation, but it was extremely trans

It is interesting to me folks across the spectrum in the US are now opposed to the Iraq war but a large segment of America still hates The Chicks for rightly calling it out at the time.

Having used agentic ai (Claude Code, Gemini CLI) and other LLM based tools quite a bit for development work I just don't see it replacing developers anytime soon. Sure a lot of my job now is cleaning up code created by these tools but

I haven't earnestly used Bazel but my limited experience with it is that it does work fairly well and if your project is multiplatform it might be a better choice than Tuist for the Apple specific pieces. But if your project is all App
