We're big fans of ClickHouse here at GraphCDN, our entire analytics stack is based on it[0] and it's been scaling well from tens of thousands of events to now billions of events! [0]: https://altinity.com/blog/

The OneGraph acquisition is huge news for the GraphQL community! Netlify betting on GraphQL being a core piece of the JAMStack ecosystem for the foreseeable future is incredible. Can't wait to see how this evolves Netlify's produc

Additionally, I'm a big fan of the Hacker News Notifications extension[0] to keep track of responses to my conversations. It adds a small bell icon with a dropdown to the navbar that shows new replies to your posts and comments. 10

Thank you for the nice words, glad to hear you like GraphCDN. We don't currently cache partial queries / request layers. For now, I would recommend splitting the query into two requests — one that loads the uncached data and one f

That's correct, however we also allow defining custom "Key fields", which is how you can tell us which fields are unique and should be invalidated by (e.g. "User.email").

We "support" batched and persisted queries in the sense that we don't break them, we pass them through to your origin, but we don't currently analyse them. Caching / analytics support for both of them is on our road

Great questions Andy! We do support wrapping payload types of any kind because we invalidate _all_ objects returned from a mutation. For example, if you run a mutation like editUser { user { id posts { id } } } we will invalidate any cached

We have plans to investigate adding global strong consistency in the future but we/Fastly don't currently support that! The purging takes ~150ms in the same datacenter that the mutation passes through, how long it takes globally d

Hey HN, When I built my last startup, Spectrum, we spent months building custom caching for our GraphQL API from scratch. It never worked well enough to alleviate our scaling troubles as we could only cache data for unauthenticated users si
