Your post effectively cancels itself out. "yes it is ok", but we should work to reduce risk and improve safety (a.k.a no, it's not ok). By having zero penalty for negligence permits unpredictable behavior. A higher penalty (h

In the Netherlands the bank account number is printed on the card. Would that solution not solve the problem being addressed here?

10 Articles every web programmer should read. Personally, SEO has zero bearing on my work. Java is only relevant to a subset of developers.

I stopped reading when the author implied that the U.S healthcare systems woes were due to supply and demand. This is a shallow view of a completely broken system. The supply and demand ratio is comparable to that of other wealthy nations,

This whole idea that you can simply define an equivalent tech hub is misguided. Like it or not, there is nowhere in the world that compares to silicone valley. This, despite the high land prices, poor public transport and high rental prices

Because cars, and suburbia. Suburbia is inherently less efficient than cities (where resources are shared). So yes, there is moral high ground. When the south bay can compete with the cities amenities, then we will see those who value those

This is madness. The tech companies are not the issue. The supply and demand imbalance is the issue. If development regulations were relaxed more, then more housing could be developed. The same protestors would probably object to further de

When I first read this I thought it said "Why Republican is Awesome". Now that would have been an entertaining read (not that the actual article isn't entertaining - I'm sure it is).

Again, this is a corruption of the democratic process. The fact that any corporation can contribute financially to influence an outcome is corruption in itself.
