Right. I watched the entire time Rittenhouse was on the stand. It seemed clear the prosecution had basically nothing, and was just trying to paint Kyle as unreliable or “looking for trouble”. And he wasn’t very successful at that, IMO.

Is there a rule of thumb for the true efficiency of that calculation? I.e if I drink one can of coke, how far can I climb a ladder on the energy I metabolized from it?

Can anyone get an archive.is link for this?

On the contrary, we need real evidence suggesting it does. Certainly the population level crash data doesn’t support it.

Tesla could call it Egre-MuzzFlorp and it wouldn’t matter. The surveys showing people think “autopilot” means “can drive itself” were fatally flawed, in that they were done with non-Tesla owners .

OP’s insurance company can harass Tesla directly if they believe Tesla holds evidence of the true cause of the crash, which they probably do.

Have your insurance company harass Tesla. Chances are they’ll come back with a report saying “driver depressing accelerator 13.42° at time of incident overriding AEB and ignoring FCW for 5 seconds”. That’s usually how these kinds of stories

Did literally anyone not see this coming? We all know the government can’t hold on to keys. I fear this will be used as an excuse to make the passport system even more centralized.

Re Tesla wanting to make this happen - Musk said these were all sold at no discount; Hertz paid full price.

I just went and checked, I have only a single Fastmail alias: *@domain.com. I’m on the Standard plan.

I own my own domain, and thus have the luxury of using *@domain.com as my email. So when I give an email to SketchySite.com, it’s sketchysite@domain.com. Really easy, and costs me very little to do (CloudFlare is my registrar; Fastmail my e

What’s hilarious about that? Seems like a pretty simple way to do it. Especially for a file that isn’t going to be downloaded enough to require a real CDN.

Remember, stuff is “cheaper” for freelancers / businesses than consumers. For me, on $2k in self employment income, I have the option of either: 1) Giving a bit less than half of it to the government and getting nothing, or 2) Giving a

Right, but I can also buy an improperly tuned chainsaw and cut my arm off. I’d argue that there should be a giant warning on the box about proper tuning, and leave it at that.

Flimsy? MacBooks? Are we in different universes? Keyboard is/was a valid concern. But flimsy, I’m not seeing. Pretty sure I could murder someone with my M1 MacBook Air, clean it, and then write code.

If you can’t trade BTC for USD, you’ll trade it for Yen, and then trade for USD. Some country will want to cash in on the demand for their currency, and will leave it legal to exchange.
