I don't know how that price is arrived at but it's totally not realistic. I would expect to spend ~1.5K on VS2013 Professional plus associated dev. tools (R#, dotTrace etc).

Discoverability is a massive issue for me still. I use a Netflix for most of my content in the UK (I have no TV) but I struggle to find content that is of interest - although after effort it does exist. I am not sure it is as simple as just

I wasn't expecting to be a fan of Spotify but I have had a subscription on my iPhone this past year and it has been excellent. I no longer keep iPod (iTunes-synced) music on my devices.

I can confirm it too. Scary stuff. This is going to cause real world problems for a lot of people. I am done with Facebook now. Bye.

I disagree. I seldom meet a talented programmer who isn't able to articulate themselves very well.

Plenty of Dijkstra's points remain relevant today. My favourite (and I completely agree): "Besides a mathematical inclination, an exceptionally good mastery of one's native tongue is the most vital asset of a competent programmer."

Gausie, Glad to hear you will be getting the code on Github. I look forward to it. My first paragraph? You mean when I commended the project and it's motivation? "But I'm not sure any of this is really relevant. The key question is: how sen

Do you not have it in source control already? "git push origin" doesn't seem like it will take too long. What's the difficulty with license? (other than the App Store's incompatibility with the GPL).

Whilst I commend any attempt to avoid the police kettling we have seen in the UK at recent demonstrations, I have a number of concerns about Sukey which I made to them at launch - and never received a response. I will try and reiterate here

The problem with IE6 (now) as the lowest common denomination is the lack of upgrades. It wasn't a bad browser when it launched but it sure is now. I don't see there continuing to be a significant share of MobileSafari 3 or 4 in the coming y
