If you don't care about it, can you even imagine how much other people don't care about you not caring about it? Seriously. And if you think it's silly to point that out, you're the one posting in a thread about how you

That just makes it sound like your company has terrible recruiting. If it's not true, you're creating your own problems. If it is true, get out, obviously.

I agree, some of the negativity I'm seeing about 1:1's seems to come from 1:1's not being useful, or even being a negative thing, but the person complaining about it seems to put all the blame on the other person in the 1:1.

A quick Googling suggested that 25% of them don't have dishwashers. I don't know if that number is accurate, but 25% would be a lot more than I would have expected too.

That's not Creationism though. Creationism really is, there is no evolution and everything was created as is. You can have a Creator but not have Creationism- that's basically what I was taught when raised as a Christian (Genesis

It wouldn't surprise me if most people using PHIGS/PEX in 1989 were doing visualization for scientific computing on workstations, and any UI or graphics was an afterthought compared to the number crunching code that was generating

IMO that probably has more to do with changes in your own reading habits or maturity level vs. 5-7 years ago. As toxic and ridiculous as any sort of electronic forum can get, I don't think it's any different now than it was on Use

“Linux/GNU” is a new one. Not sure if it’s a typo or a troll, but if the latter, it’s a pretty decent troll if such a thing exists? If it’s a typo, geez dude. You’re going to give RMS an aneurysm.

IMO it's the other way around, AR is a special case of VR. To make an AR system, you need to basically do all the work involved in making a VR system, then somehow integrate it with a video feed of the outside world, then convincingly
