To the degree that open source projects have marketing, one of the things that has historically always come up in Guile marketing is that any language can be expressed in Guile, therefore if only every application adopted Guile as their ext

I think if someone gets mad or ignores someone because they claim that the other person is bikeshedding based on a single comment or suggestion, that's most likely a misuse of the term bikeshedding. Bikeshedding is when an entire discu

7.4% of the worldwide computer market is hardly rounding error. Lenovo/HP/Dell put together account for a hair over 50% of the market, although it wouldn't surprise me if the total profits from Apple's 7.4% were greater

Pixel art is really treble but it can't help it- the relative lack of shading and gradients means it will always have more high-frequency content than higher-resolution alternatives.

From what you described, to an observer it would have sounded like you were arguing with them against the whole concept of protected classes, rather than pointing out that they should add ageism (etc.) to the list of things to be wary of. U

Not surprised at the system requirements- it has to emulate a 486 MHz PowerPC CPU. I have no idea why it would require a discrete GPU though. It only needs to output SD-quality video. Maybe shader performance is a limiting factor in the GPU
