If you have really well tuned autoscaling or really consistent request workloads. My company is still provisioned for peak load at all times which is not cheap.. We have another product built on lambdas where the compute is cheaper than the

AWS has Amplify Console which wraps up static site building, s3, cloudfront, custom domains, pull request previews, etc. If you’re already on AWS I’d recommend giving it a shot.

I don’t see ECS going anywhere. AWS still maintains old services like SimpleDB and ECS development seems to be speeding up if anything.
