   likely router -> ISP - if it was the devices, they could show up as not being connected to the network. also weird that all devices' leases would expire at the same time

   this. the endless complaints about telegram not being E2EE by default always blow my mind. can we have a discussion about other more serious issues with Telegram, if there are any?

   The point was about where is the data hosted. The answer is that it's distributed, so you would need court orders in an insane amount of countries to get any decrypted data from telegram
