Headphones really are the solution. I used to have wired ones and these were quite uncomfortable to handle - cable messed up all the time, and even when you untangle them you have to avoid pulling it, so I used speaker most of the time anyw

overall I agree, but tbh I'm quite happy for Telegram Desktop having its own notifications - the system ones in my Ubuntu Gnome (went through a few LTS upgrades, but not heavily customized) are really messed up, especially when Firefox

I'd guess guaranteed memory safety (unless you use `unsafe` blocks) without compromising for some garbage collector or ref. counting is a big thing

With improvmx.com you can point a domain at them, and then set catch-all forwarding to e.g. Gmail. Sending is possible thanks to most providers (incl. Gmail) allowing sending from different address after verification, and if you set DKIM an

note that browsers' cache has recently been changed so that it's isolated for each origin - if you visit a.com which loads jQuery, it doesn't speed up loading jQuery on b.com at all https://developer.mozilla.org&#x

Where do you find React easier to use than Svelte? I did mostly backend and simple pure-JS frontends before and never picked up react because of how long the tutorial was and how messy the tooling felt. Svelte was a breeze in both of this a

My experience is that even running Among Us (i.e. a very simple game) via Steam/Proton on Ubuntu LTS (i.e. the most common platform) was quite fiddly. Didn't have chance to try much else, Factorio is luckily native

I'm also this kind of i-want-to-know-how-things-work person and also never managed to stay at learning React, Vue etc. But a few months ago, I discovered Svelte and I absolutely love it. I recommend you to give a shot to their excellen

for me it works such that if I search for text results and switch to images, the 4 are shown. But they disappear afer any refresh of the page, no matter safe search settings
