since developing in python should be done in a virtual env to start with, I fail to see how this will be any problem. The pre-commit documented version of black will be installed in the venv of the project, problem solved.

This all depends on the system used to watch the content. From setting used on tv and avr and player, to the actual hardware. When i watch See and compare the DV version vs plain HDR version on my LG C1 the difference is big

You dont need imap proxies. If you want your email locally: Use offlineimap to grab the email for example. There are many ways to connect. If not: there are a lot of python/bash scripts to make imap/whatever work with mutt Almost

No it isnt. A lot of movies have vbr, and at scenes where a lot is going on, bandwidth can go up to 150mbps.
