People raised in US are more skeptical to this than those raised in other countries, because in the US, patentable treatments are generally preferred. Everything that is not patentable (or isn’t an expensive procedure like a surgery) is “a

Ink marks on the laler can be chemically analyzed, and I am sure forensics teams learned long ago how to identify a photo copy.

Doing this would add an extra “owner” to carfax history, lowering the value of the car. As a dealer this would be a huge deterrent to me.

As a used car dealer, I would love to participate in this. UX tips: let user choose times later, initially show date options only. Also show am option to select the city, to make it clear where this service is available.

This can’t be true, because most of the dorky features of these cars are definitely not affecting structure/auerodymanics etc.

This article makes it sounds like the merger approval was a republicans vs democrats issue. Why?

Yes these cars are deliberately designed to be expensive to service and repair. This is even the cars for some “cheaper” cars like some BMWs and Mercedeses.

As a parent of 4 I am shocked to see some kids run into the road without looking out for cars first. More parents should “indoctrinate” their kids about safety. You can’t control other people’s/driver’s actions, but you can teach you

In US most nodel 3 buyers don’t get any significant insentives, and for many it’s the first new car they ever bought. Average Tesla buyer is far from being rich.

I am also buffled. Teslas make all other feel like a flip phones compared to a smart phone. After owning a Tesla driving an ICE car feels like going back in time. Even for long trips I prefer to take a Tesla, even though I also own 2 gas

The advantage of having a US based middle man is that he can be held accountable if the goods sold are unsafe or counterfeit. These days it’s difficult to buy genuine goods of eBay and Amazon unless you buy from a reputable seller. It shou

I buy many retuned items from Amazon warehouse. I find that about 5% of them are like this - people put either their old item or some other junk back in the box. Just happened again 2 days ago with a stroller my wife bought.

For most people 300 miles of range is plenty. Longer range and quick charge time only matters when you are taking a long trip - and I would say 10min charge time will be sufficient to make it moot point when comparing to ICE cars.

After driving a Tesla for a couple months, I now wish all cars had a UI like it does, with one large touch screen. Other manufacturer’s touch screens feel ancient by comparison. And so do tens of switches and knobs.
