Maybe it's my cultural heritage, but for me a sandwich - at least the one I eat on a regular basis - has to be made from fresh ingredients. I am not talking about the taste: I am sure you can make anything asymptotically tasteful, but

Firefox on Andorid works flawlessly for me. Plus, it's worth repeating that Firefox sync works without problem across desktop and mobile. The sync [0] and auth [1] servers are open source, and one could choose to use one or both on his

I used to joke with my colleagues that you never have to write "Excel" in your CV :) Now that I am grown up a bit, I recognize it can be useful. The real life problem, for me, is recognizing when comes the moment to stop sending s

In the last animation the robot extends its legs after being already on the ground. Failing to see a physic justification for it, I wonder how much of these movements is the result of a predefined "script".

I cannot but appreciate the reference to Leopardi. His poetics is lucid and implacably rational, while the aesthetics of the language is fascinating, both in prose and in the poems. Definitely one of my favourite authors.

The part I liked most is the first (and only) comment: > Hello, the first line of my .inputrc is: > # this file can be reloaded by bash using shortcut C-x C-r So practical!

Supposing that your server-side tech uses multiple workers to render pages, I suppose you have to serialize the access to the SQLite file. What is the best way to do this?

Looking at the finger instead of the moon: I like the HTML layout (responsive, inline images with captions, lateral notes). Any insights on how it's generated? Markdown, Rst, Latex -> HTML? I would love to produce my documentation i

I think this applies not only at large (government) scale, but on a smaller scale, as well: from single companies to whole industrial sectors. I personally witnessed various (non tech) companies that self-organized their tech arm in a way t
