I think you have to reliably prove that it's your ballot and that it wasn't tampered with after the photo. Halter Voters would sometimes include a specific marking on the ballot that confirmed it was a succesfully bought vote so p

It's not about being safe, it's about being provably shareable. When the option of privately sharing your vote is there, it doesn't take long before a malicious candidate forces you to do it or face consequences. See Halter V

It sounds stupid, but I'm actually defending the unification of everything on a single brand instead of having a hard to navigate archipelago of software.

No. I've never been banned for being incendiary and I use the comment section almost exclusively to criticize things, including this comment which I now feel compelled to disagree with given that my experience contradicts it.

People like you are the reason we have to make system updates mandatory. Can you imagine if someone important kept an out-of-date primitive OS from updating for years? We have to be able to patch bugs in software whether you care about them

Hello there, fellow FOSS GNU/Unix-like OS user. I'm sure you are right because you use the same software as me and I'm right. Anyway, Windows is not real, man. Why is Microsoft even trying any longer? I personally haven'

Our computers (meaning the whole of software and hardware) are extremely primitive, their culture soaked in insanity and in general they are perfectly hateable. It's not my choice to have a temper tantrum about it because they were alr

A secretly-IoT keyboard that shares your key presses and may "type" malicious stuff when you're not looking at it; the OS wouldn't be able to tell it's not you doing the typing. Not scary at all, no sir.

Any PC may randomly connect to any router it sees if it firmly believes that is the same router the user allowed it to connect last time.

That would only work if everyone who got the same image gave the same wrong answer. Otherwise, the system just keeps sending the same image to more random people until it's satisfied with the consensus. Also, it keeps sending YOU more
