As Google Chromes GWT Developer plugin is noticeably slower (and stopped working altogether) than that of Firefox's, having to use non-retina supported browser for GWT development is annoying.

I wish it worked. I actually browsed through Postgresql documentation last night, and thought this kind of a thing would be useful as it is paginated into a lot of subsections. But the plugin didn't seem to have any effect. edit: Within min

I don't care if I have a lot of friends. I actually have actively prevented forming potential friendships. I think you are overgeneralizing.

Citation(s) please, and does it apply to all countries' tv? I would like to believe that proper news don't yield more misinformed people. (How does this differ from reading a news article on internet?)

I just bought it, and I don't see C418 there. What is the name of the game? edit: Nevermind, it's Minecraft.

I actually have that on a browser tab, and will take a look at it. I know some Haskell (have read maybe 4 books but haven't really ever wrote it).

I would really like to hear more about this. I also do type-oriented programming in OO languages, such as Java. The code naturally falls into place, too, but it's just because of Java's verboseness, you end up a lot of hand-waving. But I do

I would not trust my Twitter account to an outside party. Could you provide other login mechanism? Also I rather liked if it just used microphone as international calls are probably too expensive.

As one that has read the book, thank you for giving some perspective on Isaacson's view. Still, it nerves me a lot that you think you know when one should hang on Hacker news. This place is full of interesting technological reads; should I

It's a proper way content-wise but why didn't I get this announcement in my email? Was this sent within a Steam system? If so, it's not enough. I use only Steam now and then.

Thanks for attacking me personally. But I have no interest to pursue it more. I made claims that clearly hold true, and they have nothing to do with what you said (I did not say anything about bugs, for example)

If it was so that Wikileaks did have positive effect on revealing nasty hidden corruption or abuse with high reliability (whether that is the case I don't know), I would consider him being a dick (your words), or how it is run, to not have

How can I even downvote? I only see upvote arrow. And how did your playfulness bring any relevant information to the discussion? There's nothing wrong with being funny but it should go alongside with usefulness; otherwise you end up with pu

I use 27" Dell for my Java development and 11" MacBook Air for Javascript. The bigger screen is essential for pair programming but 11" is almost good enough for most purposes. Its size causes most problems when I need to inspect the dom ins

Without knowing about the subject, I am curious to know, do you seriously think that [it] "has just simply never occurred to generations of people"...? A lack of physical investigation is not enough to conclude such a thing.

To address the first items, how about taking example from a country that has high progressive taxing system. You are taken care of, even though not particularly well.

I disagree about the slider. That is not a good solution; using it strains hand, and causes trouble especially for elderly people. Also it does not give a clue what is the range.

My main concern is for the young as that has a lot of influence how each develops in later age, and how they feel about school. Universities was just afterthought; I wanted to say that it does not get better even when the students have sele

As a Finn, I restrain myself comparing us to others but I just want to say that most schools here are not well suited for non-superficial learning. I would hope the future brings a system that is driven by the need of individual pupil and b
