You don't think that Paypal is also a bully as well? Closing people's accounts (not just Wikileaks) when they see fit, having no real recourse to try and get your money once that's happened etc. Paypal have a reputation for being a bunch of

When I've posted this sort of thing before, I totally erase the text that's there, put different (wrong) text there and then do a terrible job of blurring it. Just to annoy people like yourself! Probably a bit mean, but I like to make these

You know you can do this already, right? People can tag me all they want in photos, only I see it. The control are there and they're not that hard to find (IMO of course). Is your problem that they're not there, or that they're not easy t

Another great Twitter cli client, if cli is your thing, is TTYtter. http://www.floodgap.com/software/ttytter/ Don't mean to detract from the original post, I just find ttytter to be a great client (and it's a single perl file)

"Don't care, would still read it" should be an option. And in my case, the only reason I don't care is because I don't understand.

I use the X1 search program to make my life a lot easier. At my office we have to use Outlook, X1 makes using email like having your own local copy of Gmail. Doesn't really help with huge volumes of email, but it does help when you have to

Totally agree. I think the "release often" philosophy is a good one, but too often and you just open yourself up to "this doesn't work, that's wrong, this is broken etc" I think knuckle down, code a bunch of good stuff then show it off. Of

I've been telling everyone I know that uses Posterous of this lame move. A couple I know have moved away from Posterous, most think it's a pretty poor move, a few couldn't care less. Certainly though I won't be recommending Posterous to an

Exactly. While they'll "wrap" other shortening services, what's the point now? People won't use them and they'll fall by the wayside. Not really a bad thing in my opinion (people use them now when they don't even need to) but still a bit

Good point. I guess by hacker I meant coder/programmer. Most of the articles here refer to programming or other similar complex problems. Whilst BGP next-hops, OSPF neighbours and flapping spanning-tree can be a pain in the arse to debug,
