Even worse is when you loose your phone. I just lost mine (still hoping some nice Berliner turned it into the lost and found) and I guess I've gone and lost all my whatsapp history + contacts there.

Not a very nice thing to do anyhow. Guess it doesn't matter too much for this project but not marking development dependencies as such is horrible for any consumers of the module.

My guess would be he/she did not lock the versions in package.json, but used "wildcards" (I consider `1.x` a wildcard.) Happened to me once, took about a day to figure out. I really dig `Gemfile.lock` in Ruby land for this pu

OCaml seems to be on an upswing in popularity/hype recently. As someone who's threading the waters in Clojure but not a fan of the JVM developer experience I'm curious why OCaml is a great choice. I would love to hear some st

Looking at the website I see there's quite a few features I didn't know about! Maybe there's not really any update I would need after all.

This looks sweet! I use git quite lightly right now as I'm currently the only developer on my project. Gitup.co is the benchmark of Git apps for me right now. I barely need anything more than it and it's so incredibly light feelin

They don't support linebreaks though. We would love to switch to KaTeX but the lack of linebreaks, among probably others, is a deal breaker. Working with MathJax is awful.

I think he's referring to `Object.keys(object).reduce`. We polyfill `Object.entries` so we do `Object.entries(object).reduce((result, [key, value]) => ...)`

The rent is really getting ridiculous. Seems like a lot of people are stuck in the prices they had five years ago. Though if you pick a WG, or live with a partner, you should end up paying between 25-35% of your rent. Not too shabby, but it

I think two games came close to offering the speed & fluidity that QW offers. One is CPMA ( http://playmorepromode.org/ ) which is basically Q3 with QW physics. It's based on Quake 3, which I was never a fan of, and

Thanks for the writeup. I wouldn't mind having a very hackable phone I suppose. Does one need Linux to enjoy it at its fullest, or is OSX also okay?

Any Jolla/Sailfish users out there that could shed some light on their impressions so far? I'm reluctant to switch to Android or iOS but I will need to switch out my phone real soon.

It says "coming for Linux & Mac." No reason for the developer to have to push all at once or any other platform first. Can't wait to try it on OSX!

ELB has been such a pain to work with for us. Their latest platform version has fixed some of the random fails at least. Our biggest issue right now is that the same EC2 instance that is running the code is used to pull down & build the

I consider makefiles a skill as well, as I never learned to write them. Perhaps I never learnt bash. Takes me back to my C/C++ days fighting the build system whenever I didn't use an IDE! I didn't get very far... :-)
