I am in SEIU (and also AFT and IWW, but that is a whole other deal) and this is not my experience at all. The union doesn't have any issues with management providing benefits that were not a part of the contract negotiations, hell it h

I can always rent a car if I need one. My commute to work is an important consideration of what employers I’m willing to consider and it is unlikely I would ever work for someone that doesn’t pay me enough to live near my job or in a city t

I went from maybe someday I will buy a car to being fuck it, no reason to buy something so expensive that I clearly don’t really need. This article made cars look even more like a luxury good than they already are.

I live in Eugene Oregon and haven’t needed a car yet. Previously was in Portland and also didn’t need a car even though I lived fairly far from the city center.

I hear these stories all the time from people, and don’t doubt this happened to you but I have lived in Oregon almost my whole life and this has never happened to me or anyone I personally know.

The watch isn't 100% standalone but I have no issues listening to music and podcasts away from my phone and I think people using it for listening to music while exercising away from the phone is a huge selling point for many people.

I know that for me the apple watch is what I wanted the pebble to be. I can often leave my phone behind but still have music, podcasts, email, twitter, Reddit, Instagram, and a variety of news apps all available.

I must be some USB-C unicorn as I can't think of ever having any issues. I have had a couple of USB-C hubs and they have worked for both me and my partner. All my work machines are USB-C only and literally the only issue I can remember
