It seems to me that liquidity in a semi futures marketplace would be much better if you traded on a lowest common denominator - cents per square millimeter of a finished wafer. Same units of value regardless of underlying technology. Am I w

I’ve used ChatGPT to create related concept lists. I haven’t settled on prompting strategy for the Pocket corpus (yet). The OAI recipe looks interesting, TY! And you’re right - I was using abbreviations, parent/child nomenclature, etc

“The commish”. Online Monopoly game, but for sports. Multi personas - stadium owners, team owners, broadcasters, sponsors, etc.

I just tried the same "third planet from the sun" question and got the correct response. No other training or tweaks. Can't wait to unleash Pluto questions.

Seconded. My copy launched without problem - now I want to learn how to ingest my library of blog posts, PDFs & images.

Moved to Appalachia (parents). I'm eating better. Proud to report that we bought a place in the center of town for 1/3 of our place in Austin. Bored, though.

I wore "11" as a sophomore HS running back, then moved to "40" for my junior & senior years. I gained almost zero weight (or muscle), but I swear I looked GOOD with those skinny ones on my front & back.

I spent a year at Harris Semi’s RTX group. A previous gig as a Forth programmer plus undergrad work in assembly programming came in handy. I really wish RTX had caught on with commercial clients, but the lack of tools made it tough for most

We're about to find out too. Dad passed 8 months ago; we got a $1500 hospital bill last week (just after the probate window closed) w/o explanation or description of services rendered.

I used Excel sheets with a small grid scale & cell merges to build page layout prototypes for a startup. Didn't have to climb the Figma learning curve (no disrespect to Figma, I'm sure it's great). Would do it again.

I moved from Austin to Appalachia last year to help elderly parents, so this is going to be a tough sell. Semiconductor ops & supply chain, prod mgmt, and whatever else you’d ask of a grizzled polymath. Location: Charleston WV Remote: y

This is a thing? I get it, the unboxing experience is fun. But I’m not saving a piece of pretty cardboard to hold pencils. That’s why I look for cigar boxes at flea markets.

Great advice as long as you're in a medium-to-large org. Otherwise you might as well start shopping for a new job.

Chevy Silverado XLTs have touchscreens too. I haven’t listened to any audio for more than 20 minutes in 3 years. The screen is totally unresponsive & starts ghosting soon after ignition. Trash.

What is the experience like wrt to commercial interruptions? I can’t watch NFL on broadcast tv any more - the dead air to game action ratio is dreadful. $72/month just makes this an absolute nonstarter.

I use pocket for this & spend considerable time tagging each new entry. My link library is approaching 10k articles, and is slowly becoming my go-to when referencing a favorite subject.
