Nice work! By the way, now that you're here ;) do you perhaps also know if there's a way to address fjcaetano's concerns if you have access to a full video feed?

I'm curious about how to interpret their 'Face Recognition Evaluation' data though. I'd like to use this for authentication purposes but if I'm interpreting it right their performance is close to existing solutions,

From what I've understood polygraphs aren't actually lie detectors but 'emotional distress' detectors. That means you don't know whether what's being said is true or not, but you do know when you've found

Indeed. That's exactly the kind of thing I'm talking about, although from what I've heard access times for DNA are still a bit steep though ;)

My bet is still on a break-through in write-once storage, which wouldn't just be useful for life logging but could also work wonders with a storage system like Datomic (with persistent/purely functional data structures.)

Good point. I imagine you could make a pretty penny by hijacking credit card detail entry forms. To evade detection you can even have the hijacking code only included on pages that actually collect credit card info.

If you choose to correlate two generally unrelated negative events based on race and imply they are a symptom of an underlying failing of character of the culture, that is very much racism. Just try replacing Turkish with gay, which is abou

I'm mostly just surprised that it seems like they didn't include a trainable gesture recognition app. It should be pretty doable to hook it up to a neural network and train it to recognize some of your own gestures. I was already
