Vidoop had been playing for a while in the identity space and was still flirting with it at this time. Part of the entire reason of going to SXSW was to figure out opportunities in that space going forward, or whether or not we should just

Depends on how easily it is to integrate into your project. For instance, for Django applications, there's django-openid-auth (see http://blogs.gnome.org/jamesh/2009/04/14/django-openid-auth/ and https://launchpad.net/django-openid-auth

Definitely an automated test bed, ideally runnable by just one command and by every developer, and then again by Buildbot when you check in code (we pushed a lot of our Selenium tests onto just Buildbot since we didn't have a lot of js and

Werkzeug is fantastic. We used it with jinja2[1], SQLAlchemy[2], and flatland[3] with great success. [1] http://jinja.pocoo.org/2/ [2] http://www.sqlalchemy.org/ [3] http://bitbucket.org/jek/flatland/overview/

I wrote about something like this a while ago: http://gobyairship.com/2008/06/02/notifications-how-i-want-t... Very excited by the prospect of controlling my communication flow.

Be sure to take a look at Werkzeug ( http://werkzeug.pocoo.org/ ) - we've had great success with a Werkzeug, jinja2 and SQLAlchemy setup.

For me, the data store is the more interesting bit. edit: I should probably clarify why. While I'm a big fan of supporting accessible content, providing what is essentially a public service for a large number of statistics, especially when

#7 isn't really a reason not to buy a Kindle - like most of the reasons not to, they're just grievances, and #7 isn't even about the kindle, it's about flight attendants. (though, "You can’t explain that it’s epaper and uses no current. You

This is pretty neat. The UI is pretty, but somewhat distracting. Not enough contrast, I think, and it could be more minimal. Freeze wasn't super intuitive. Having a history of what you've posted with thumbnails of previous things might be

OpenSocial and OpenID aren't really related (except that they are both part of the open stack). Facebook can easily continue to do whatever they want with their API and still do OpenID. It would be nice, however, if they did a hybrid OpenI

"Even random boarding would be faster." That would be pretty fun. I wonder about families boarding, though. It seems like the proposed solution would fall apart fairly often. Families often sit together and want to board at the same time.
