For this one I couldn't quite figure out the modus operandi (no documentation) and it seemed too much a work in progress to consider seriously, as the author himself sort of stated above. I will definitely read parts of the source code

Everything I have found is documented in their respective github repositories. This is my main issue https://github.com/band115/ecirca/issues/38 I can't find much docs on how to use rebar's {pre_ho

I'm excited since I'm specifically in the market for a lightweight tsdb written in Erlang. Also the documentation looks quite nice. But like all the other possible contenders I've found, so far. I am unable to compile this pr

I think I would generally agree with what you said here. I'm curious if you've succeeded in finding an office environment that would let you work that way ? Unless you're working from home most of the time, it seems like &quo

I implemented a proof of work system to protect access to a large number of webpages before. The problem is that a native implementation is an order of magnitude faster than the best JS interpreter, and it can be 2 or 3 orders faster than a

Dead reckoning of phone trajectory using inertial sensor (of the phone) + gps corrections ? I don't see a dedicated camera on the drone (using gopro for machine vision is not ideal), nor a beefy cpu to handle person tracking onboard, b

Exactly what happened in France circa 2000. France Telecom the national operator was forced to maintain the last mile and open to other ISP at the city exchange. This has allowed newcomers like Free (Free ISP), to disrupt the high speed int

I recently read the book Calculus Made Easy. The way it teaches the material is very intuitive and if you understand the premises you should be able to re-derive all of the formulas yourself. I would highly recommend it to high school stude

I'm not that old (28), but I already see myself doing "the same stuff over and over" in my programming jobs. It's not that bad yet, but I think this would be a problem in my mid-thirties. I've been seriously thinki

None of those fancy things seems to work if you have just a hint of an accent. Yes my accent is fairly noticeable, but that doesn't seem to bother humans .. But I feel less bad knowing Siri doesn't work if you happen to be Scottis

The crypto scheme used should depend on the importance of what you want to protect. For instance, I think using md5 for a secure token that will expire in a few minutes is reasonable.

In the particular case of Nginx and Lua, the OpenResty package[1] is pretty much self contained except for libpcre. Nginx+Lua is only the core part that powers this ecosystem. OpenResty comes with a lot of libraries for "usual web stuff", e
