Yeah, or they could not. HH is a great idea, but with a tutorial that most people it's targeted at can't follow. It's the kind of thing programmers love, "look, it teaches people to code using my favorite language!", but doesn't actually do

He's being honest. The existing solutions aren't any good, so he made one that is better. There are thousands or millions of FOSS projects that were started because the existing ones are bad, and they've all said that they were started beca

That's a really good point, but I'd prefer a poorly supported but secure version to a great GNU/Linux client with owners that lie about their ability to view your files.

That's really too bad, Apple could've forced Dropbox to shape up privacy and security wise and actually made it into something pretty cool.

Sorry, but this doesn't actually do anything. Using beforeRequest there is no guarantee that your script will be loaded in time to block the request, so in practice you only end up blocking facebook trackers about 50% of the time. The webRe

Twitter was my RSS for a very long time. If they start injecting ads as content now, i think I'll close my account since it is no longer serving it's purpose. A bit of a shame really, i liked my spam-free Twitter.

Great point, nobody should ever improve their software or provide it to a wider audience unless they charge money for it. Brilliant.

It's confusing because Google constantly markets Android as "open", then says "Yeah, it's not actually open, you can see the latest version when we finish it."

Linux is not on github[1]. A temporary mirror of it is, since kernel.org is down. [1] Unless you count mirrors, in which case both Linux and PHP are on github.

NSFN has a good interface for registrations, but it's worth noting that they're just a reseller for register.com (they even say so in their FAQ).

Er.. and what is that? Campfire and Hipchat both take 5 minutes to set up and are cheap enough that they save you money by not having to set up your own system. Yours requires setup and costs a ton. How is it like Campfire/Hipchat?
