Also worth using a premium domain service like CSC -- if there is an issue you have a 24/7 contact and for overseas domains they usually have local agents who can hold the domain if rules change that would ordinarily disqualify you fro

You think that realtime ad impressions is all they get from you reading granular forum posts? Sadly, even in 2020, nothing has yet replaced what Deja was at the time it got acquired and destroyed.

AI on the algo side is only half the story -- it has to sit in a domain specific framework to be most effective I see a lot of 'bolt-on' tech emerging -- it looks mostly snake oil -- there is no obvious way to be competitive again

IPO valuation aside -- it is premature to write the WeWork model off It could end up being a strong counter-cyclical model -- and outperforms as the economy tightens Traditional office space is a 2, 5, 10 year commitment and a pain to move

There is an argument the model they run is counter-cyclical -- some FDs would rather pay more monthly for a service they can quickly scale up/down against revenue in region vs 5 or 10yr commitments -- time may show revenues grow in a p

In my experience some of the biggest problems are solved best by the slowest thinkers Those slow thinkers might have a good idea of the answer they likely want to give straight away - but maybe want to take another day or two before committ

I use Virgin Euston to Manchester a couple of times a month and it's a great rail service. Painless, clean, fast, tables, power etc., quiet off-peak and such a good work environment I've almost stopped driving.

There was little enough memory to get an asm program doing anything material using HiSoft DevPac assembler let alone using a high-level lang. The instruction set was very limited (in comparison to i386 etc.) so the learning curve was not st

I've used 1password since 2010 when I paid $69.95 for a family license. It seems to need upgrading for each new version of OSX - but I still only use the features now that I used in 2010.
