Twitter is just an 'internet' equivalent of SMS. You can predict that eventually all these forms of communication will unify (email/sms/phone/skype) so you won't need multiple phone numbers/addresses/twitter IDs ... The only thing stopping

There will be a conference call today to discuss the transaction at 5:30 a.m. Pacific time. Investors can listen to the conference call by dialing (719) 234-7870, passcode 923645. A replay will be available for 24 hours after the call ends

Not much substance in that post. However you need to control events and not let events control you. If you react to every tiny issue reported you will end up in a cycle of release-issue-fix-release. If the issue is only affecting a minority

You absolutely need to do this. If cost is an issue - you can file a single application in a couple of classes in your local country, then broaden it out when funds allow until you cover the main countries you plan to operate. At the compan

Most of the last and current generation of tech university leavers appear to be trying to be the next Facebook - instead of trying to disrupt the enterprise software market. It really bothers me that all these talented kids are outside of t

So you'd rather have 49% of a dangerously under funded company than 4.9% of a well funded company? If you sell equity for investment in to the business the total value of your shareholding has not reduced, but the company is more able to pr

Percentages are irrelevant, once you've lost controlling share it doesn't matter if you have 49% or 4.9% - as 4.9% of something > 49% of nothing.

Imagine a world where patents only last 3 years and all closed source code and research had to be made public in that time too. We'd all have to innovate faster and more consistently to stay ahead of our competition. We would probably have

Timely line from CS Lewis "And it is essential of the happy life that a man would have almost no mail and never dread the postman's knock." He could never have imagined the black tide of corporate email that washes up on my desk everyday.

The model they have is perfectly viable. The disk allocation was very tight (especially for companies moving legacy repos to it) - it was 3gb space for a 'large' account intended for 25 users and 50 repos.

It has hardly even started yet. Many tech companies have been insulated as they were funded (therefore not relying on revenue for survival). There will be no new funds for many of these companies - so they need revenue - and they have to ac
