A backdoor for one is an opportunity for many. Given the UK is completely incapable of outspending most of the world on compute, this effectively hands their enemies that data they’re looking for.

This is a very common event. Anglo American sent $17M to an email scammer years ago but it happens constantly in America too. We had to build a ton of detectors to eliminate this type of fraud for our customers at OpenEnvoy. Bank details, e

Many years ago Apple added twitter support at the OS level. At that moment, they chose to become an ad network instead of a technology company. The hardware is very nice of course and just like you it’s the only reason I stay.

My favorite part is the punchline: “This is incomplete. It covers about 80% of one corner of OpenSSL's functionality. The certificate policy options have a lot more knobs that I didn't include.”

I still own a Klein Performance ‘81 and an Adept Comp that has its own amazing story. Love Klein bikes. In fact, I kind of expected this article to be about Klein since it also came from MIT in 1975. https://en.wikipedia.org&#x2F

I've heard this pitch too. My favorite is when a VC told me my expectations were "too high as 90% of us couldn't get a job at Goldman and that we are just content marketers" which I felt was wonderfully honest.

I often wonder if drones even need to look like they do or if there is a more efficient design that we don't use simply because "things that fly look like this" where "this" includes a place for a cockpit.
