How would he get instant ink in North America with an EU region printer? Would you trust an org this incompetent to do that properly... or at all? Anyways, he plainly acknowledges the sunk cost fallacy at play here.

Very interesting read. If anyone can recommend a similar article with slightly more accessible language for sharing with others, this step-dad (whose step-daughter turns 14 today) would appreciate it. I feel like this particular article may

Are you talking about something else? The article is about region locking which means, by definition, that the ink available in North America won’t work. Money isn’t the only consideration in these situations anyways. For some people it’s

By the same token, op claimed rent control “never” works. But some places implement a sort of rent control that applies to all rental housing not just some. For instance, in B.C. rents are only allowed to be raised each year by a fixed pe

That’s not what “power” means. They don’t have the power to force anything to happen outside their little get together. The only “power” they have is limited to what participants can or can’t do while attending. Such as: they have the power

That’s a good analogy. But it misses an important component; Every one of those convention attendees is fiercely competitive with each other. Some are even in a state of war with others. They all have different races, religions, belief syst

Are there any economists that support your theory? Namely that (if I understand your point correctly) immigration is hurting the economy more than it’s helping? Everything I’ve seen claims the opposite - but I’m open to new information. Als

I've had a good experience with Backblaze on MacOS. But I'd still consider it as a secondary backup (a backup-backup?) to use in addition to a local backup like Time Machine.

I never said it didn't happen. Don't do that. It's unquestionably a different dynamic. If the party is in power, then the party is in power. Period. They have less incentive to listen to smaller factions. Do they? I sure hope

Moments ago I withdrew 5 figures worth and it literally took 6 minutes. If someone hasn't done enough KYC then... they haven't done enough KYC. Isn't adhering to KYC standards what we want? How is that bad?
