Interesting. I'm from the same era and have the opposite opinion. To me the word "commit" implies legality, "death by suicide" seems factual and without judgement. The Centre for Suicide Prevention seems to agree. N

The expression " committing suicide" has those connotations and is considered taboo by some. Maybe that's what you're thinking of? The alternative suggestion is "death by suicide" which is both technically cor

While this case is indeed controversial and worthy of examining... I'm sceptical of "liveaction.org" as a source because it describes itself thusly: "Live Action News is pro-life news and commentary from a pro-life persp

I'm a staunch atheist and was also very cynical about this too. That is, until I attended several of these meetings in support of a friend. The intensity of the religious aspect probably varies depending on where you live but what I ob

Does anyone know how the Aerial View API would work with billing? That is, can you cache the URL of the generated video and embed that for your users? Or, would you need to make a new request for the same video on every page-view?

Just a heads up to everyone complaining about the (valid) issues on mobile and elsewhere with this site. It doesn't appear to have been updated in 12 years. In 2011, the newest iPhone was the 4s. https://web.archive.org/

To be fair, Apple refunded and cancelled the subscription upon request in my instance too. But first you've got to notice the problem, and then jump through the hoops. There's no good reason I shouldn't be able to cancel an a

Yep. It's a blatantly obvious dark pattern. It's your credit card. Your money. Yet Apple gives you no way to cancel (or even view!) a child's subscription online. Heck, they won't even tell you which child made the sub
