Searches for "browser" still show an advertisement for Chrome in the same spot as the top search result. Shouldn't a demotion also apply to sponsored ads?

Hmmmm.... I wonder how other browser vendors are able to pull it off then? This answer doesn't seem to carry much weight if Firefox and Chrome can do these things and still remain secure.

If you want to disable it in Firefox, you can go to about:config and set the pref for full-screen-api.enabled to false. I'm not sure if Chrome has a similar way to disable the feature.

I don't think this is a fair comparison. Simply because the software company operates in the open does not mean that they are more likely to let bugs sit for a while. I've worked on closed-source software that suffered from the exact same p

Thanks for the comment, but I thought I was pretty clear that the original claims were indeed false. There are other issues with PayPal that I covered, as well as their poor response to the false allegations.
