I feel that the biggest advantage of Vue over React is that it's incrementally-adoptable. It's small and lightweight and fits nicely everywhere. Preact offers a similar experience.

I'm really excited about links. Links will make things much easier for monorepos.

I'm the author of CxJS[1] which uses React for rendering. Before rendering, the whole tree is scanned for data changes and with that information available shouldComponentUpdate is very simple. Another technique that I find very useful

Thanks for the reply. I guess that would be dashboard use. As a Steam player myself, how can I see my own stats? I tried searching by my username, but couldn't find it...

Slightly off topic, but I'm curious what is the common use of JS charting libraries these days? Is it for making dashboards with simple graphs or complex data visualizations? I'm an author of a JS charting library myself, so here

Did you save your report? If you were signed in then you should be able to find it in My Reports. I can help you otherwise. There is no data past 2015 available from World Bank, so you can't really create reports up to 2020.

Shameless plug here. I built a small todo app that works very well with a large number of tasks. The app is 99% keyboard driven, supports Markdown, custom CSS and uses GitHub Gists for storage. https://github.com/mstijak

I would recommend CxJS as an alternative. It has the best mix of Angular and React features such as JSX based view, two-way data-binding, controllers. On top of that, a large collection of widgets and charts is included out of the box and w

The license is perpetual and can be terminated only if Licensee breaks the agreement. I don't see how that can be an issue. Can you please explain the problem?

The licensing stuff is hard. I believe that our license is fair, even if it's complicated. You're right, many free projects offer the same or even greater functionality, however, you're not taking into consideration time you

That's true. It's your client who should provide the license. I guess if you're switching projects very often this is a problem, so feel free to contact us and we'll come up with a model that works for you.

I would recommend Cx to all React contractors. Cx runs on top of React and solves many React/Redux pain points. It also offers comprehensive widget library and charts. http://cx.codaxy.com/ Disclaimer: I'm the aut

webpack is great. HMR and code-splitting are killer features. Only thing that I'm worried about is tree shaking. There are a couple of long standing issues about problems with classes and export all statements. Rollup is missing code-s

I would recommend Cx to anyone building complex forms. It's one package that covers all common problems related to forms - validation, data-binding, multi-value lookup fields, horizontal form layout, theming etc. https://cx.

Your comment perfectly matches my own experience. Animating charts is hard, however, data-binding is much simpler with JSX. http://cx.codaxy.com/v/master/docs/charts/legend

Cx widgets mostly work with inferno-compat. There are still some issues to iron out, but hopefully that will be fixed with 1.0. Performance improvement over React is clearly visible, especially on large unbuffered grids: http://c

I find wrong that most frameworks do not include any component library. Even if there is a vibrant community, you end up with 30 dependencies which do not play well together. I'm the author of a commercial framework for BIG application

Theming is a difficult problem. Each component has a couple of visual properties which may depend on the state (hover, focus, error, internal variable). Having a separate variable for each visual property would be a nightmare. I'm curr

You might also be interested in how Cx handles state and data-binding. It's a combination of ideas from Redux and Angular (immutable data store + declarative data binding) - https://cx.codaxy.com/docs/concepts/
