These are all truths to heed. I can also recommend the book Cocktail Codex[1] for anyone interested in learning more about making cocktails, it's a very interesting take on the subject. [1]: https://www.amazon.com/dp&#x

All good suggestions. Also – the Martinez cocktail is another great initiation to gin, and my favorite of all cocktails. It's my goto benchmark drink as well, I've never been to a good bar that messed up my Martinez.

Hey, this looks kind of nice actually. But why hide the content behind an email sign-up, why not also provide an RSS feed, or at least the latest 1-3 send-outs? If you hadn't provided that link to the latest e-mail I would've brus

Great story, thanks for sharing! Whenever I see someone wearing a tattoo with characters like these I can't help but wonder if it's actually what the wearer believes it to be, or if it's just items off a take-out menu...

I've been following this project a little bit and am very impressed with the tenacity of its author. I'm a quite happy GitHub user, but I do want this project to move forward and succeed so I'll be looking into moving over at

I never meant to imply they didn’t, but I never really used them because they weren’t very discoverable. With the Touch Bar I can tell just by looking at the “keys” what they do, whereas with fn-keys all I see is F1, F2, Fn... none of those

You’re right, and I wasn’t very clear with my comment which is unfortunate. I never meant to imply that any of those things were impossible with fn-keys, just that they weren’t very discoverable. The Touch Bar shows me what features are a

I initially found the touchbar to mostly be a gimmick, new for the sake of being new and not really bringing anything useful to the table. A couple of years later and I'm a convert. If I had to buy a new MBP today I would definitely ma

One of my favorite RFCs for sure, and it's a beautifully simple and useful regex. It's a shame RFCs seem to have fallen out of fashion, the WHATWG URL spec is an unreadable mess of a monster, not least the parsing section: https:
