I think it's actually most fields that have that. Listen to people talk about places they've visited and you get some of the same things. It might be that just because this is online, in a tech forum, we see that kind of anger about tech.

Every problem is important, if you care about it. Too often we make a distinction between "important" work like curing diseases and "unimportant" work like making games. But people like games, both making them and playing them. You might no

How much of that is changing mediums, though? People get more comedic entertainment from TV, movies, and the internet now, rather than comedy clubs, and that has to change things.

Are these people who are just causing problems or just want things other than what you are providing? Those are two different problems with two different answers.

I haven't used Votizen but in other voting records databases, they record "Yes" or "No" as to whether they voted (and sometimes other information depending on the state).

Sure but I just ignore it. Plenty of useful, actually informative stuff out there. Why waste your time on hype and self-promotion?

As someone who was (fairly recently) once there, this is definitely true. I think I'm pretty smart but if I knew then what I know now about potential resources and methods, I would have done much better and wasted much less time and energy.

Exactly the kind of thing ZipCar helps with. That's the real game changer. Self-driving cars might be cool but unless they are shared, they won't fundamentally reshape our experience.

We might be more focused on getting people to do things, but it doesn't need to be just about getting people to sign up for things. We can also use software to make people behave better, to make people's lives better. Just yesterday there w

But prison wardens don't let inmates read whatever they want. Do you think you could survive reading only what the warden would let you read (and doing only what they permit you to)? I don't know about you but I think I'd struggle to surviv
