The article would be helped by using a full regex for ipv4 addresses - the one it uses would match invalid numbers (999.999.999.5 for instance), but the proper one is more complex (and would probably make for a better example as a result) A

I just tested it, and bangs can be entered at the end of the search string. "foo bar !g" searches Google for "foo bar"

Diaspora can optionally pull some information from Facebook, but nowhere to that extent. It might allow you to connect with FB friends who also use Diaspora, though, so if that's the cast it'd help people migrate.

I gave these to the high school kids that I mentor Robotics for - they each seemed to find different puzzles that they liked, so I consider that a win. These are the same kids who had fun learning binary search as a way to always win "
