I use it so much that I barely feel like I'm using it. To me it's just part of my phone. I slide to the right, I see my agenda, my next flight or booking or last bus, the weather, news I'm interested in. It's a 5-second

I regularly drive on both sides. The only difference I find is that the order of the pedals in a manual car makes less sense for left-hand drive. In right-hand drive you can put your left (gear) foot to the side and your right (throttle) fo

I couldn't really understand what FOAM does in under 2 minutes, so it doesn't meet the bar for me. You should try React with JSX though. It's a tool like jQuery, but much more sane and structured, and as opposed to frameworks

I assume all major ISPs use 2 or 3 layers of cache, which makes the size of their perimeter fleet largely irrelevant. Not really. The resolvers tend to be geographically dispersed and use anycast. Having a multi-layered cache would probab

Large ISPs and public DNS resolvers typically don't use a single server, but rather a fleet of DNS resolvers each with their own cache. Some providers like Google Public DNS use two-layered cache, but it's still fragmented per ser

Evolution happens primarily in spurts with high selection pressure in which cooperation probably makes less sense than in stable populations with relatively low selection pressure.

That's an overly complicated way of saying "use bounded queues". Your system can get into a really bad state if you don't use bounded queues, and take a long time to recover. Unfortunately, limiting your queue size is no
