I agree (from my experience). That's mostly the fault that even with static types interface design (e.g. in Java: public methods and public classes) is still hard and most developers are not good at it. For me, a lot of the Spring clas

That's a good explanation, thank you. My experience in big projects with dynamic languages boils down to Angular which I didn't find very REPL friendly. BTW, with IntelliJ and its debug mode for Java we almost have some sort of we

My experience: I don't get how in a project with several developers and maybe even teams dynamic types work at all. If a colleague writes a function/method that returns something, in JS, how do I know what it is? I have to read th

It's been a while since I studied mathematics (and I wrote my thesis in optimization), but at the time it was not clear if simplex is in P or not. I think no one has found a selection function for variables that is always polynomial.

This error means that you need at least JRE8 (Java 8) to run the applet. Or OP must compile the applet in a compatible bytecode format for older versions of Java (-target of javac).

As a Java developer, I am a bit jealous. When people joke about us we usually only get a link to the Spring documentation of AbstractSingletonProxyFactoryBean (or maybe the enterprise hello world), but no one ever wrote that as a service. M

With Spring Boot (not saying Spring is one of the "uncomplex" parts of the Java ecosystem) build and deployment goes like this: `gradle build`, `scp` the jar file to a server and then you can symlink it to `/etc/init.d&#

Spring Boot allows all of this at once [1]. You can specify a configuration file in your sources but if you set specific keys in the environment that configuration has a higher priority. I think this is a very good solution. Particularly th

How long has it been that you used Spring? You don't need that much XML for a Spring 3.0 application. Almost everything can be done with annotations. Why do you compare Spring with J2EE when in fact JEE took a lot of the good stuff from Spr
