Is it for an R/C car or something different? I’ve found out that RTAB-MAP works quite nicely, but whether it would be useful for you depends on many factors.

Hi HN! Since my last post [0] describing my experience working as a robotics consultant gathered some attention last year, I figured there might be some interesting discussion that can happen this year too around the topic. Happy to answer

I see the form is closed now, but if you are up for a challenge: I maintain a robotics newsletter and subscribe to around 150 different sources. If you are able to find me quality articles or projects I would not find otherwise I’d be more

Just recently, when looking for material for my robotics newsletter, I came across this magazine from 1980s and the issue I’ve read was still surprisingly relevant. I thought it might interest the community here

I think it's worth experimenting quite a bit to try to see what time works for you to exercise. For me early morning works best as there are no unplanned meetings etc. and I can easily do it 3 times a week. Also as someone mentioned al

It’s quite simple with ROS - you open a bagfile or connect to ROS, select the topics of interest and then you can plot the values. An example of the top of my head for debugging: the robot I was working with was not very eager to turn on th

I've been using PlotJuggler for a good couple of years now and it's one of the go to tools for debugging robotics systems for me. I'm sure it had saved me a good couple of days of my life!
